Caricature is an art which Tony has developed to a high point. In a few swift lines manages to capture the character and exaggerated likeness of his subject with wit and sensitivity. As cartoonist he has drawn many famous and notorious figures in our public life.

He subscribes to Max Beerbohm’s definition of the art of caricature as being in its most perfect form, “that which , on a small surface, with the of means, most accurately exaggerates , to the highest point , the peculiarities of a human being, at his most characteristic moment, in the most beautiful manner.”

He does caricatures on private and corporate commission.

He prefers to work from life , but if this is not possible is able to work from photographs.
